Setting
Premise
Arthys is a Sci-fi LARP/LAIT set on a faraway planet, Arthys-5, in a distant future (about 100 years). After Earth was depleted of all its resources, left littered, filthy, polluted, and struggling with irreversible climate change. Relocation, known as the Great Migration, ensued, and humanity settled on their new planet, Arthys-5. And with them, their old ways, making history doomed to repeat itself.
Earth is dead.
Planet
In 2154, using a Deep Space Probe, scientists discover Solar System BU-526 and within it a habitable planet that is designated: Arthys-5. By 2193, Earth had been deemed nearly uninhabitable. By 2216, the first waves of humans migrated to Arthys.
In 2225, Earth is deemed completely uninhabitable. By 2233, now 4 AC, about 30% of Earth has relocated.
By 5 AC, the current nations on Arthys are founded.
Continents
Arthys has two elongated continents: Tetrus and Daures. They are connected by a land bridge where also the border between the nations of Ashar and Eatheris is. Tetrus is where Eatheris and Muazena are situated. Daures is the continent to the east and home to the lone nation of Ashar.

KHI (Keeping Humanity Intact) - Neutral humanitarian aid organisation

Equilibrium Syndicate - Eco-terrorists (activists)
AKOS Group - Neolium mining companies working together
The Purifiers of Planetary Cleansing - a fanatical religious group.
Climate, Flora and Fauna
The climate on Arthys changes depending on where on the planet you are. You will run into tundras, deserts, wetlands, and jungles or rainforests. Each has its own different type of flora and fauna. Bioluminescence is a commonly seen trait in plants, flowers, and creatures.
Not every creature or even plant is harmless.
Neolium
Neolium is a glowing blue crystal-like mineral that is found deep in the planet's earth. Originally used in lanterns and light fixtures. Later, after an unfortunate explosion, everyone found out another use for this mineral: energy.
Eversince there has been a big boom in the mining for this mineral, followed by a resource war.
Politics
The political world on Arthys is diverse. At the start of their settlement on Arthys, there was an agreement not to make the same mistakes as on Earth.
Political conflict between Muazena, Eatheris, and Ashar is nearly reaching its boiling point. Refugee crisis, resource wars, and terrorism are high on all parties' agendas.
Events
A mysterious virus rages through Arthys. Ashar goes so far as to declare martial law.
Ashar has declared war on both Muazena and Eatheris in order to secure more Neolium deposits.
Several Neolium mines, refineries and government institutions have come to be harassed by (eco) terrorist groups.
Arthys unexpectedly shows a lot of seismic activity and naturally occurring events.
Other
Languages:
The language spoken on Arthys is generally English. Recently, over the last 60 years, a new language has been evolving on Arthys; Ietnier, a mix of vowels and sounds from the other languages spoken in the old world.
Religion:
Religion still exists on Arthys-5 and is relatively widespread. About 60% of the planet’s population would consider themselves atheist. Religion on Arthys-5 does not focus much on the stories within a religion, but rather on the lessons it aims to teach its followers.
Crime:
Crime is rampant in some parts of Arthys and in some cities. There's a thriving black market for narcotics, fake PIDs, black market medicine, smuggling, and fake documents. Cybercrime, hacking, and stealing PID Crecents accounts are often seen.
