How to play

• Our events are small and personal, there will be little to even no NPCs.

• Each event is structured around a central narrative.

• Every event plays at a different location, different time, with different characters, but all in the same intertwined world on the planet of Arthys.

• There can be time skips in the future or the past, and past events can and will influence coming events and the story of Arthys.

• Pre-Written Characters:

  • For each event, we write a set of fitting character concepts with basic information such as a story role, and other (basic) essential details.

  • Players can pick up to three characters from this set with their prefered being on first place.

  • Players are essentially DPC’s and NPCs are hardly involved in play.

• Personalization:

  • Once you select a character, you have the freedom to develop it further by adding to the character's background, motivations, and personal traits.

  • This can be done on your own or through a discussion with our team.

• One-on-One Sessions:

  • We'll schedule a personalized discussion with each participant, lasting between 30 to 60 minutes, to flesh out their backstory and motivations.

  • This digital session will be held via Discord video and/or voice call.

We encourage all participants to contribute to the world-building process, helping to shape the setting and narrative.

Whether through character development or in-game actions, your creativity and imagination play a crucial role in the ongoing evolution of Arthys.

After each event, we hold a debrief session to discuss what happened with your character. This feedback is invaluable as it helps us incorporate your experiences and character development, and thus world building, into future events.

We allow shortform, longform, or help in any sort of way. If you have a concept you would like to see, or fleshed out. Please dont hesitate to contact us, and we can discuss how we can facilitate.

Writing your own event (in collaboration with us) in this larp, as a one time deal, is possible.
